Baked Rice with Tuna

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Aloha Jasmine Rice.
  • 1 can Aloha Tuna.
  • 1 onion, diced.
  • 2 eggs.
  • ½ cup cooking cream.
  • 1 tbsp butter.
  • 100g mozzarella cheese.
  • Olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • A pinch of nutmeg.
  • Chopped parsley for garnish.

 

Instructions

1- In a pot, bring water to a boil, add salt, then add the washed Aloha Jasmine Rice and cook.
2- In a pan, prepare the tuna filling: Heat olive oil, add onion, and sauté until softened.
3- Add Aloha Tuna, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg, then stir well with the onions.
4- Grease a baking dish with butter. Add half of the Aloha Jasmine Rice, then spread the tuna filling over it, followed by the remaining rice.
5- In a bowl, whisk eggs, salt, black pepper, and cooking cream together, then pour over the rice.
6- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 15 minutes.
7- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your meal
